Picking up from last Thursday (as I have been unwell the past week) I began by testing a model I had previously started which manipulates further axis.
Upon seeing the model again, I realise that there are still more possibilities to manipulate axis orientation which I will progress onto next week.
I will begin to test on new software such as blender to stray away from the geometric shapes often used by Escher and Penrose, which I personally prefer myself also.
Using unreal engine, I created motion paths to demonstrate that the centre of gravity was essentially the centre of the model; however I think the movement paths could be improved. Another question which I am considering at the moment is what do 4 dimensional humans look like within the 4th dimension?
Raw model experimenting with textures to create additional depth:
Model exported and manipulated in photoshop by layering and tessellating the raw image:
Motion paths added to demonstrate centre of gravity being the centre of the structure:
To progress, I am going to model more randomly as well as experiment with camera movements to enhance the idea of a fourth dimension.
