Situating a site that I am beginning to imagine in an inter-stellar/4th dimension, I began to question how I could tie a physical site to the theoretical project.
Beginning to research the pennine district, I was initially drawn to Holme Moss - a place I used to go to regularly when I was younger to take astronomical photos - albeit not very good, I was a novice feeling like a pro:
Upon further research, I found the location "Cross Fell, Great Dun Fell" that is home to an observatory, linked with the University of Manchester, situated in the North Pennines. I felt that a site which an existing relationship with observing space and time would be a better and more appropriate location. Looking at images of Cross Fell, I noticed similarities between the form of the landscape there and the Roden Crater.
