Continuing the development of the digital design workshop - we are now beginning to learn the programme Grasshopper, a friend of our tutor Hyun has very kindly offered to undertake some workshops for us to follow along.
During the workshop I found the concept of the programme very interesting, and in theory I have a vague understanding of how it works, however the unfortunate truth is the combination of only using one small screen and a laptop with a different interface to the tutors resulted in me missing out an action and then remaining one step behind for the rest of the session.
At home, I have re-watched the lectures on grasshopper and intend to try re-create the same processes again at my own speed until I feel I have a better understanding of the theory. I have a few friends in MArch3 who have offered their understanding of the programme too, but I have found learning brand new softwares in remote environments can be a lot harder than I initially thought.
